Sound as smart in Dutch as you are
Our B2 course is for professionals and students who need precise, fluent Dutch — for work, for university, or for the NT2 state exam (Programme II).
- Colleague
Volgens mij is dit gewoon een kwestie van beter plannen.
- You
Daar ben ik het niet helemaal mee eens — het ligt volgens mij genuanceerder.
- You
De planning is het symptoom, niet de oorzaak. Zal ik uitwerken wat ik bedoel?

The course book

Nederlands op niveau · Boom
All group lessons at this level follow Nederlands op niveau, the B1-to-B2 book in the same NT2 series as our other courses. The book itself is not included in the course price — order your own copy so you can write in it and keep it.
View and orderWhat is B2 Dutch?
B2 is the CEFR’s upper-intermediate level. At B2 you understand complex texts, discuss abstract topics, and interact fluently with native speakers without either side straining. It is roughly the level of the NT2 state exam, Programme II — the standard for Dutch higher education and most professional roles. Our B2 course is for learners with a solid B1 who want nuance, precision and confidence.
The CEFR is the six-level European standard for language ability. Our group courses run A1–B2; beyond that, C1 coaching is private and on request.
At B2, you can:
- Follow fast native-to-native conversation, films and talks — implication included
- Argue a position and disagree politely, with the register to match the room
- Handle meetings, presentations and client conversations in Dutch
- Read complex texts — contracts, articles, study material — without a dictionary reflex
- Write clear, detailed Dutch you’d happily send professionally
And after B2? After B2 you meet the language bar for Dutch higher education and most professional roles. Beyond it lies C1 — near-native territory we coach privately, on request.
How the course runs
You speak in every single lesson
Live video classes capped at eight students — small enough that speaking Dutch isn't optional, it's the whole point. Not a webinar, not an app. We're an Amsterdam school; you join from wherever you are.
NT2-certified native teachers
Native speakers with the NT2 teaching certification — professionally trained to teach Dutch as a second language, not just to speak it. They benchmark your progress against the official CEFR scale and tell you the truth about it.
Ten focused lessons per block
Each block is ten live lessons of 60 minutes, typically meeting twice a week — one complete step of your level with its own start date and price, so you always know exactly what you are committing to.
Never lose the thread
Notes and materials are shared after every class, so a missed session doesn't become a lost week — you catch up before the next lesson and walk in ready.
"Good small language school offering private and group Dutch lessons for beginners but also more advanced levels. Offering online lessons. Had a good experience and enjoyable lessons with Lorenzo!"
