Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you start
What level should I start at?
If you've never studied Dutch, start at A1 — there's nothing to assess. If you've studied before, our level pages describe what each level feels like, and if you're still unsure, a short free level check settles it. Our group courses run from A1 to B2.
How much does a course cost?
You pay per block — ten live lessons of 60 minutes — and every course page shows its exact price, dates and seats before you enrol. No hidden costs and no price you have to ask for.
Do I need an intake session before I can join?
Complete beginners don't — join the A1 class directly. If you've studied Dutch elsewhere, we do a short free level check first, because every school sequences Dutch differently and we'd rather place you correctly than move you later.
What if the level turns out to be wrong?
Tell us after your first lesson. We'll move you to the group that fits — and if no suitable group is running, we refund the lessons you haven't taken. We'd rather do that than keep you in the wrong class.
What if none of the class times work for me?
Tell us which days and times could work for you — every time that could work, not just your favourite. We plan new groups around real demand, and we'll contact you as soon as one that fits opens. Nothing to pay in the meantime.
Do your courses help with the Dutch integration exams?
Our courses build the language levels those exams require — the integration exam sits at A2–B1, and the NT2 state exam (Programme I/II) at B1–B2. How long that takes depends on where you start, so we don't promise exam readiness by a fixed date. If an exam is your goal, mention it at your level check and we'll plan your route around it.
